Having researched all the various packaging options, we settled on the industry leading "Pulpsafe" as it is, in our opinion, the only packaging that offers the protection that you would expect when purchasing wine of this quality and price. Whilst we like the design and look of other options, we do not feel they offer the same protection yet. With that in mind, we are always on the lookout for new, innovative and eco-minded solutions.

About Pulpsafe

Pulpsafe bottle packaging offers the highest levels of protection for shipping your bottles with the greenest possible eco-credentials.

• Made in the UK - we like this as it keeps the transport miles down.
• It's recyclable - again, we like this as all our packaging can be reused.
• It's compostable and biodegradeable - placed in any household compost, it will biodegrade in less than 6 months - superb.
• The packaging is easy to use and its flexible in nature - we like this as it allows for some variations in bottle shapes and sizes (the Burgundians, Champagne's and Rhone's of this world).

The Pulp is made by combining water and recycled paper before moulding using wet pressing technology. The moulded pulp is then heated to give it strength and rigidity.
