Romanee-Saint-Vivant Grand Cru

Romanee-Saint-Vivant is another vineyard, which is largely owned by DRC (5.3ha out of 9.43 in total) but with other notable owners including Leroy, Jean-Jacques Confuron, Alain Hudelot-Noellat and Louis Latour. This is the closest Grand Cru to the village of Vosne-Romanee. The exposure is due east, with altitudes ranging between 250 and 265 metres and the soil a heavier (compared to the other Grand Crus) clay-limestone mixture on a marl base. Romanee-Saint-Vivant is known as the lightest, most delicate and perfumed of the Vosne Grand Crus.
