Le Poruzots Dessus Premier Cru

Le Poruzot and Poruzot Dessus are located in the heart of the Meursault village, the latter bordering renowned Genevrieres premier cru in the southwest.  The exposure is east-northeast and as such the microclimate tends to be slightly cooler than nearby sites, thus the wines slightly leaner in expression. Poruzot Dessus is the section lying underneath Les Boucheres – wines are concentrated and densely textured, often with a muscular expression, and the very best examples have finesse and balance.
