Guiseppe Rinaldi

These are ultratraditional Barolos – intensely perfumed, powerfully structured, and very slow to mature. The estate was founded in 1890 by Giuseppe Rinaldi and is today run by 5^th generation Beppe Rinaldi’s widow and daughters, who all take part in the growing and making of the wines.

Rinaldi today comprises 7.8 ha of prime vineyard land – all in the commune of Barolo – including parcels in vineyards Brunate, Le Coste, Ravera, Cannubi San Lorenzo, and most recently including 1.3 ha in Bussia. The vineyards are farmed organically and the wines age on average 3 ½ years in enormous old Slavonian oak casks. We list the Barolo Brunate, which is arguably Rinaldi’s most iconic wine, made from 85% grapes from the Brunate vineyard and 15% from Le Coste vineyard.
