Gualtallary

Gualtallary is a sub area of Mendoza’s Uco Valley sub region. Located south of the city of Mendoza, in the Andean foothills, Gualtallary’s 2,250 hectares of vineyards are planted at altitudes ranging from 1,100 up to 1,600 meters. The climate is dry continental, with high day time temperatures and intense sunlight which aids the ripening of grapes and development of ripe tannic structures, while cool nights preserve aromatic precision and freshness in the wines. The soil is alluvial, and pockets of calcareous deposits have been discovered here and are today some of the most sought-after terroirs. The wines have great fruit intensity and concentration.
