Gevrey-Chambertin Clos-St-Jacques Premier Cru
6.7ha. If one Premier Cru vineyard in all of Burgundy can stake a claim for promotion it would be Clos St Jacques just north-west on the outskirts of the village. It was the monopole of the Comte de Moucheron from the nineteenth century until 1954 when the 6.7ha was sold off in four top to bottom strips.
